Blind Depot Online Store Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions below apply to all sale transactions made online. When making an online purchase you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
Pricing
We regularly update and publish our online prices in response to changes in the market so please note that prices are final once an order is placed with us.
Blind Sizes
Blinds are supplied cut to size to the nearest 10mm increment. Due to the need for sufficient clearance to enable normal operation of the blind you are advised to use the appropriate Measuring Guide listed on our Help and Advice Page when deciding which size of blind you require.
Payment Methods
We accept online payment by Pay Pal, Visa and MasterCard (we accept payments from cards issued by Australian banks only). All payments must be made through the online checkout process. We do not accept payments over the phone. We do not accept payments made from overseas locations unless by prior arrangement.
Delivery Policy
Under normal circumstances your blinds will be delivered within 7-10 working days after payment receipt. Destinations outside the Australian mainland may take a day or two longer. However, we may from time to time take a little longer to send out your order due to heavy demand. We will contact you straight away if our timescales are likely to exceed the normal expectations and give you option to cancel your order and receive a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel any order and provide full refund at our discretion. While we aim to deliver your purchase as soon as possible, the delivery timetable given is only an estimate and we do not accept responsibility or liability for late deliveries. Shipments are not covered by transit cover insurance unless you select this option during checkout. In any case, we are not responsible for any lost orders or for damage caused during transportation.
Cancellation Policy
Please send all order cancellation requests to info@blinddepot.com.au. An order may be cancelled before it has left our premises on payment of the cancellation fee of $20.
Returns Policy (refund or exchange)
Without excluding your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, purchased items can only be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of purchase. In order to receive a refund or exchange, you must produce a valid proof of purchase and must return at your cost the items in their original condition and packaging including any accessories and manuals. Subject to the requirements of the Australian Consumer Laws, all returns and exchanges are at our discretion.
Returns Policy (faulty or incorrect items)
If you have been supplied blinds in the wrong colour or specification and you want to return items outside the above conditions, you must first obtain a written return authority from us by emailing your request to info@blinddepot.com.au. Faulty or incorrect blinds will be replaced free of charge and we will refund any reasonable return shipping costs you have incurred.
Warranties
All products sold by Blind Depot are covered by our 12 month warranties. Extended warranties are available at an additional cost of $40.00 for 12 months, per blind.
Goods Supply
Goods are not supplied on a trial basis; please check the specifications and compatibility prior to purchasing.
Recourse
If you are not satisfied with a product that you have purchased from us and you did not receive a satisfactory resolution from our customer service team, please contact us at info@blinddepot.com.au
Website Terms
We make every effort to ensure that the information on our website is accurate but we cannot guarantee that some elements may change without notice. Pictures of blinds shown are not necessarily blinds that are available for sale through the website but do represent similar products. Colour swatches are subject to some variation and we cannot guarantee an exact match is shown on screen due to the limitations of the technology and the different types and standards of computer monitors in use. Natural finishes such as wood are also subject to variations in colour. This natural effect is a feature of the material and is not considered a fault or defect. Colour descriptions are descriptive of the colour and not of the material used.
